Faith-Based Therapy Available
I am a counselor who has taken training in order to effectively integrate faith into sessions upon request. I follow my client's lead and explore their beliefs related to their faith. Faith integration is always optional and client-led.
What Faith-Integrated Counseling Looks Like:
- •Exploring how faith informs meaning, hope, forgiveness, and resilience
- •Incorporating scripture that aligns with your beliefs and values
- •Prayer, only at your request
- •Addressing spiritual struggles such as guilt, doubt, anger, or grief
- •Aligning therapeutic goals with your personal values and faith framework
This is clinical counseling, not pastoral counseling. Ethical Christian counseling does not involve preaching, moralizing, or telling clients what they "should" believe. My role remains clinical—not spiritual authority. Faith is explored as a source of strength, a source of struggle, or sometimes both. You set the pace and depth of any spiritual discussion.
Had a difficult experience with Christian counseling before? Faith-integrated therapy can be inclusive and client-centered when practiced ethically. I do not assume uniform beliefs, lifestyles, or experiences. You remain free to question your faith, express doubt or spiritual wounds, and explore identity and values without judgment. This is a space where faith struggles—not just faith strengths—can be discussed openly.
I work with clients of all backgrounds. Faith-based integration is optional and always client-led. The focus is on your goals, your values, and what helps you heal. Whether you share my faith or not, you are welcome here.
